We engaged Gehret Constructions to undertake an extension and renovation of the ground floor of our house and adding a second floor parents retreat. We were looking for someone who would do what they said they would, complete the job on time and within budget, do quality work and communicate easily and openly with us. Frank and his team were fantastic to deal with. Our job was
done on time and on budget and the workmanship was of such high quality we have had many friends and neighbours comment on how fantastic the finished product looks.

Inevitably there are always issues and unforeseen events that occur when building, and I could not commend Frank more highly for how he worked through those with us, and helped us find the best outcome. I was looking for a builder to build my home in 2017. Frank Gehret from Gehret Constructions was recommended by a friend whose house Frank had also built. The descriptions offered to me were: Reliability, trustworthy, great quality and that I would not be disappointed.

It took us just over 7 months to finish the job. In the end, I have come to totally agree with my friend. Frank is first of all very trustworthy and reliable. He delivers what he promised. You do not need to chase/remind him if he gave you his word. The quality of work that Frank and his team delivered is something that Frank can be proud of and that I am extremely satisfied with.
Frank is also very easy to talk to and very friendly to work with; as a first time home builder, I found Frank to be fantastic in guiding me and also offered some invaluable advice along the way. His experience and problem solving skills shone through for the entire job. The quality of his team of trades people is also second to none (I still have friends asking who built my house and commented on the very high quality of various trades in the house).

Last but not least, according to most people who visited my building site, Frank has the neatest and cleanest site, which really sums up his professionalism, attention to detail skills and delivering the best that he could. You would not be disappointed if Frank builds your home.

Gehret Constructions did a major renovation of our Coogee semi in 2015, adding an extra storey, indeed 3 floors at the back of the property where the block sloped away. Frank was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Work started and was completed on time (20 week project). Frank worked harmoniously with the Architect and ourselves to come up with solutions to any problems. He got on fantastically with our neighbours. His pricing was reasonable and all costs were transparent. The work was of the highest order and remains so more than 4 years later.
